The Just Nothing Alta

Christian Louboutin Just Nothing Alta

The Just Nothing Alta lifts the clear-band Just Nothing mule onto a platform and a towering stiletto. Same near-invisible vamp, far more height, with the platform doing quiet work under the toe.

As a mule it has no back, so it reads relaxed even on a heel, held across the vamp. It fits true to size for most people. Each pair passes our authentication team before listing, the reason a considered pre-owned example wears beautifully for years.

Wearing it

On a mule the vamp edge and the footbed take the wear first, so that is where we look.

Does the Just Nothing Alta run true to size?

The Just Nothing Alta fits true to size for most people. As a backless mule the fit is all in the vamp: your toes should sit just inside the front with the band holding across the foot, and a little heel overhang at the back is normal. If you are between sizes, we would size down rather than up.

Authentication

How do you spot a fake Just Nothing Alta?

We authenticate every pair in house. These are the details our team checks first on any Just Nothing Alta that comes through us. For the full method, read our guide to authenticating Louboutins.

01

The red sole

Louboutin's red is a specific shade (Pantone 18-1663, Rouge Louboutin). On a worn pair it fades and scuffs at the tread first. A sole that reads orange or pinkish, or paint sitting on top of the leather rather than in it, is a warning sign.

02

The sole stamp

The red sole is engraved with Christian Louboutin and the size, set across the arch. On a genuine pair the lettering is crisp, evenly pressed and correctly placed. Shallow, uneven or badly spaced engraving, or a stamp that looks printed on rather than pressed in, is a common tell on a fake.

03

The insole stamp

Christian Louboutin and Made in Italy are stamped cleanly into the insole with the size. The lettering is even and precisely spaced. Smudged, shallow, or misaligned stamping is one of the most common tells on a fake.

04

The vamp

A backless mule is held by the vamp across the foot, so that is where the make shows. The band or straps should be evenly cut and cleanly stitched where they meet the sole, with the patent or leather sitting smooth and taut over the last. A vamp that puckers, or stitching that wanders where it joins the sole, is a warning sign.

05

Construction

The patent should read as a deep, even gloss with no cloudiness or crazing. The make should feel precise: even stitching, a clean footbed edge, and secure straps. Rough seams or lifting straps are common tells on a fake.

06

Box and dust bag

Original packaging is a supporting signal, never proof on its own. We authenticate on the shoe itself, and a genuine box and dust bag with the correct labelling add confidence.

Broadly yes. The Just Nothing Alta fits true to size for most people; size up half a size if you are between sizes or wider-footed.
How high is the Just Nothing Alta?
150mm, about 5.9 inches.
Is the Just Nothing Alta comfortable?
As a backless mule it slips on and the vamp holds the foot, with no back or toe box to break in; on the 150mm heel it is an evening shoe, easy for its height.
What is the difference between the Just Nothing Alta and the Me Dolly?
The main difference is height: the Just Nothing Alta is 150mm and the Me Dolly is 100mm. Both are red-soled Louboutins, so it comes down to the silhouette and how much heel you want.

How much is a pre-owned Just Nothing Alta?
