The Cora crosses two wide bands over the toe on a squared block heel with a small platform. The crossed bands and the block heel make it one of Louboutin's steadier evening sandals, easy to stand in through a long night.

Louboutin's red is a specific shade (Pantone 18-1663, Rouge Louboutin). On a worn pair it fades and scuffs at the tread first. A sole that reads orange or pinkish, or paint sitting on top of the leather rather than in it, is a warning sign.

The straps should be evenly cut and cleanly stitched where they meet the sole, and any buckle or logo hardware is crisply engraved and solid. Thin, uneven straps or light, roughly finished hardware are a warning sign.

The make should feel precise: even stitching, a clean footbed edge, and secure straps. Rough seams or lifting straps are common tells on a fake.
